Meant to Bee

Sometimes the prettiest pieces come together simply because they were waiting for one another.

The sparkling flower drop and its length of silver-tone chain were leftovers from a broken necklace — beautiful little pieces that still had plenty of life left in them, but no obvious place to go.

Then I remembered two tiny silver-tone bees that had been buzzing around in my reclaimed jewellery stash from a previous find. 🐝🐝

Once I brought them together, it all suddenly made sense.

The delicate citrine-yellow crystal leaves add a little warmth and colour, while the clear crystal flower catches the light beautifully below. The two tiny bees hang from their own lengths of chain, giving the whole piece lovely movement.

Finished with a heart-shaped clasp, this little bag charm is made almost entirely from components that had already lived another life.

Apparently, they were just Meant to Bee. 😂🐝💛
