Sometimes beautiful beads simply find themselves in the wrong company!

These wonderfully substantial glass beads began life as part of a preloved necklace that, if I’m being truthful, wasn’t particularly inspiring. But the beads themselves were far too lovely to overlook.

With their striking mixture of black, white and clear glass, decorated with playful swirls, spots and contrasting patterns, they were just waiting for a chance to shine.

Rescued from their former arrangement and reimagined as a bold bracelet, they’ve been given a completely new lease of life.

And because these beads are wonderfully chunky, this isn’t a bracelet that quietly blends into the background. It’s a proper statement piece, full of character, contrast and individuality.

Boldly Monochrome is proof that sometimes all it takes is a change of scenery for something to become rather fabulous!
