Sea Grass Meadow

Those gorgeous faceted green beads began life as part of a bracelet I bought for myself several years ago. Unfortunately, it was always just a little too small for me, and so instead of being worn and enjoyed, it gradually found its way to the bottom of my jewellery box.

Far too pretty to spend another few years languishing there, I decided it was finally time to give those beads another chance to shine.

I dismantled the original bracelet and paired its beautiful muted green faceted beads with colourful round crackle-glass beads already waiting in my craft stash. Their translucent mix of soft aqua, pink, green and golden tones adds little flashes of colour between the more understated greens, while the crackled interiors catch the light beautifully.

The beads have been restrung as a comfortable stretch bracelet, creating an entirely new Love to Sparkle design from something I already owned and materials I already had.
