Tigers Eye & Earth

From tired and broken to warm, earthy and wonderfully individual.

These beautifully unusual earrings began with a very tired and broken necklace, but the distinctive circular discs were far too interesting to give up on.

Their softly lustrous surfaces are full of natural-looking character, with gentle ripples, tiny dents, variations and blemishes that mean no two are quite alike. I can't say for certain what material they are made from, so rather than guess, I've simply allowed their wonderfully individual appearance to speak for itself.

Using silver-plated jewellery wire, I paired the reclaimed discs with Tiger's Eye beads already waiting in my craft stash.

The finished drops have been attached to new 925 sterling silver hooks.
