Sometimes I know exactly where the components for a new piece began their journey. These little beads, however, are something of a mystery.

I discovered them loose at the bottom of a bag of broken and unwanted jewellery, with nothing left to tell me what they had originally been part of.

What I did know was that they were far too lovely to stay there.

With their rich chocolate colouring and beautiful golden shimmer, the glass beads needed very little embellishment. I've simply paired them together and added brand-new gold-tone earring hooks, allowing their gorgeous colour and sparkle to speak for themselves.

Simple, elegant — and proof that even the smallest forgotten treasures can be worth rescuing. ✨
