Second Look

These beautifully simple wooden hoops are the smaller siblings of my Double Take earrings — both created from components reclaimed from the same preloved belt.

Once the belt had reached the end of its original life, its wooden details still had too much character to be discarded. Looking at the individual components away from their original setting, I could immediately see their potential as something different.

While Double Take brings two graduated hoops together to create a longer, bolder design, I've kept Second Look wonderfully simple — one reclaimed wooden hoop on each earring, allowing its natural shape and warmth to speak for itself.

They're finished with brand-new gold-tone earring hooks and are extremely lightweight to wear.

If you love the design but are unable to wear the type of hook fitted, please get in touch before ordering. Where possible, I'm happy to discuss swapping the hooks for another suitable type or material.
