Peonies after Dusk

Romantic, softly vintage and completely one of a kind, Peonies at Dusk brings together delicate floral detail, rich purple sparkle and the warm glow of copper tones.

The pretty peony beads were already waiting in my craft stash for the right project. I paired them with faceted purple glass beads reclaimed from a broken piece of jewellery.

Rather than simply stringing the beads together, I created each little section individually, threading the beads onto copper jewellery wire and linking the finished sections together by hand, adding reclaimed antique-copper-tone chain and a gold-tone clasp. The result is a beautifully fluid necklace where the soft peonies and dusky purple glass take turns to catch the eye.

Elegant enough to dress up but easy to wear with something simple, Peonies at Dusk is for anyone who loves florals, purple tones and jewellery with a past worth celebrating.
