Falling Into Place

This little bag charm began as three completely separate finds.

The textured feather was rescued from one preloved piece, while the coordinating leaf charm came from another entirely. Neither had any connection to the other in their previous lives, but tucked away amongst my reclaimed jewellery stash, they seemed to belong together.

A rummage for something to bring them together produced a length of spare reclaimed chain from yet another piece, allowing the two charms to hang at slightly different lengths and move independently.

Finished with a new gold-tone clasp, they’ve now been given a completely new purpose — different beginnings, one new story.

Sometimes the pieces you never expected to meet are the ones that simply fall into place. 🍂💛
