Amethyst Hearts

I discovered four of these delicate purple glass hearts amongst a bag of broken jewellery — little loose treasures with no way of knowing what they had once belonged to.

They were far too pretty to remain forgotten, and with four beautifully matching hearts I had just enough to create two delicate pairs of earrings.

One pair was finished with silver-tone hooks and has already found its new home. For this sister pair, I've teamed the sparkling purple hearts with brand-new gold-tone earring hooks, giving the rich purple glass a slightly warmer look.

Simple, delicate and proof that even a handful of forgotten components can find their way back into the world. 💜✨
