Silver rain

These delicate earrings began life as part of the central arrangement of a necklace that could no longer be used in its original form.

As I dismantled the necklace, putting aside its individual components for future projects, I spotted these two matching sections of fine silver-tone chain finished with clear glass beads.

Already beautifully formed — they just needed to be looked at in a different way.

Rather than taking them apart, I kept the original arrangements intact and created this wonderfully delicate pair of drop earrings, finishing them with brand-new 925 stamped silver hooks.

The fine cascading chains give them lovely movement, while the clear glass beads add just a subtle touch of sparkle.
