Second Chance

Some things are worth finding twice.

The wooden beads in this necklace originally came from an old piece of jewellery that found its way to me some time ago. I loved the mixture of rich brown tones and natural wooden shapes, but because every bead was slightly different, finding close enough matches to create new pieces proved rather tricky.

Several months later, something wonderfully happened — another example of the very same old necklace was given to me.

Suddenly I had twice the choice of those lovely wooden beads, allowing me to carefully select pieces from both necklaces whose tones and shapes worked beautifully together.

For Second Chance, I combined different wooden beads in warm shades of brown, with pops of yellow between them and linking everything with a simple silver-tone chain.

♻️ Reclaimed & reimagined: Wooden beads rescued from two separate examples of the same preloved necklace have been carefully matched and combined to create something completely new.
