Pearl Cascade

I spotted the donor necklace for these earrings sitting forgotten in a charity shop, and it was the delicate chains of faux pearls that caught my eye.

Looking beyond the necklace as a whole, I could see that once carefully separated from the main piece, these beautiful little arrangements needed almost nothing else. They were already perfectly formed to become earrings just as they were.

So rather than dismantling them any further, I reclaimed the original pearl-and-chain sections intact and simply gave them their new purpose, finishing them with brand-new sterling silver earring hooks.

The result is Pearl Cascade — delicate strands of faux pearls with lovely movement and an elegance that was there all along, just waiting to be noticed.
