Orange Agate Turtle

A little turtle surrounded by warm, natural colour.

Sometimes a design begins with a plan. Sometimes it begins because I spot something I simply can't resist!

The beautiful natural orange agate beads were already waiting patiently amongst my jewellery-making supplies when this little orange turtle caught my eye. He was new, completely irresistible and, much like his little malachite cousin, apparently just waiting for the right beads to come along.

The warm, naturally varied shades of the agate turned out to be the perfect companions.

Threaded onto new jewellery elastic cord and sized as an adult bracelet, this is an original Love to Sparkle design combining beautiful natural stone with one very cheerful little turtle.

Because sometimes the best pieces aren't rescued — they're simply waiting for their ingredients to find one another.
